What is different about Puducherry?
Post-incorporation, enterprises in Puducherry must comply with the Puducherry Municipalities Act (Profession Tax Rules). The company must enroll for a Professional Tax Enrolment Certificate (PTEC) within 30 days of registration, and deduct PTRC from eligible employees. Additionally, your registered premises should obtain a TN Shop & Commercial Establishment Registration under the Tamil Nadu Shops and Establishments Act 1947.
Stamp duty and official charges: Official government fees are collected transparently based on published statutory schedules issued by the relevant Puducherry and Central authorities. All government challans are shared directly with the client.
