FSSAI License Renewal

Under Food Safety regulations, an FSSAI renewal application must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the expiry date printed on your current license. You can apply for renewal as early as 180 days before the expiration date on the FoSCoS portal.

If you fail to renew before the expiry date, your license enters a grace period where a mandatory statutory late fee of ₹100 per day is charged on the FoSCoS portal. If not renewed within the permitted grace window, your 14-digit license is permanently deactivated, and you must apply for a brand new license while temporarily halting business.
